Will it work with my computer?Yes. Personal Trainer Pages™ does not require you to install any software. It runs in your web browser and therefore will work on any computer (apple or pc) with a modern web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. Both of these browsers are completely free and are already installed on most computers.
Can I use my own domain name?Yes, after signing up for the service you can contact us with your domain name and we will set it up so that your website uses "yourdomain.com" instead of you.personaltrainerpages.com. You do not need to purchase an SSL certificate for your new domain because the system is able to transparently switch to "you.personaltrainerpages.com" when sensitive information such as passwords or payment information is being transmitted!
What happens if I exceed one of my quotas (bandwidth, disk space, etc)? Most customers will never get anywhere near reaching their quotas. However, for those few that do, we offer very affordable quota increases. Please contact support@personaltrainerpages.com for more information.
Can I sell my own products? While our system does not have any built in way to sell your own products, you are free to add paypal buttons to your site. Selling products other than what is sold at Trainer's Wholesale requires a seperate checkout process. Please see paypal.com for more information.
What browser do you suggest? The sites that are created with our service should display correctly in all modern browsers. However, in order to manage your site we suggest that you are using the latest version of Internet Explorer or Firefox. For PC users we suggest you use Internet Explorer which is built into windows. If you are noticing problems you should make sure you are using version 6 or above. You can go to www.windowsupdate.com to update your browser. For Mac users we suggest you download firefox at http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/. The system may work on other browsers such as Safari. However, we have not tested ALL browsers. We encourage you to give Firefox a try. |
