Getting Started

This page provides a basic overview of the most common things you will want to do after activating your site. For more specific help, you should click the red help icons in the website manager. After signing into your website manager, you should complete the pending tasks listed on your dashboard.

Complete Pending Tasks

1.) Click on a pending task

When you first log into your website manager you will see a list of pending tasks. These tasks are shortcuts that take you to the appropriate editors so that you can complete them.

2.) Complete the task

If a task says "Review..." then you only need to click on the task to complete it, otherwise the task is requiring you to do something and then click a button to commit your changes as is the case with the "enter content..." task shown in this picture.

3.) Click "back" to return to the task list

After completing a task you should click the "back" icon to return to your dashboard so that you can begin another task.

Preview The Site

You can preview your site by clicking the "Preview" tab. This will popup a preview of your site. When you are logged into your manager you will see your website in preview mode. This means that you will see all blocks(content modules) and pages even if they are hidden.

Change Themes

1.) Click the "Theme" icon

The quickest way to start changing your theme is to click the "Theme" icon on the "Home-Start" page. This will take you to the theme manager.

2.) Select the "Change Theme" tab

When you first visit the "Theme Manager" you will be viewing information about the current theme. You should select the "Change Theme" tab to choose a new theme.

Add New Pages

If you want to further customize your website, you can do so by adding new pages.

Follow these steps to add a new page to your site...

  1. Ensure the Pages tab is selected at the top of your website manager.
  2. Click the "Add New Page" tab under the Site Outline heading.
  3. Enter a title for your page.
  4. Click "Create and Edit Page".
  5. Your page should now be created. However, you will need to add one or more blocks (content sections) to the page.
  6. Click "show" under the page name in the site outline when you are ready to add it to the menus in your site.
